Addgene’s Transfection-Ready DNA service provides ready-to-use, high-purity DNA preps intended for mammalian cell transfection and other molecular biology applications. DNA is available from popular CRISPR, imaging, sensor, reporter, and gene expression plasmids in our collection. Every prep is backed by Addgene's quality control and verified with next-generation sequencing. Ordering
Plasmids eligible for this service can be ordered as either a bacterial stab or a 50 µg or 100 µg DNA preparation in Tris buffer.
Please note that a subset of plasmids in the Promega Plasmid Collection are available for the Transfection-Ready DNA service. These plasmids also include a 20 µg DNA option, which is not part of the service and therefore not considered transfection-ready.
Transfection-Ready DNA is shipped at a concentration of 1.0 µg/µL ± 2.5% and is suitable for use in mammalian cell transfection and other molecular biology and scientific research applications.
Transfection-Ready DNA orders ship within 5 business days once the MTA has been approved. Please note that any additional items in your order may not ship until the DNA service has been completed and is ready to ship. To see the status of your order, please visit our Track Order page.
