For all of our plasmids, the bacterial strain used to generate the Addgene stab is listed on the individual plasmid page. For example, for Plasmid 13031: pcDNA3-EGFP, on the plasmid page under the section "Growth in Bacteria- Growth Strain(s)", DH5alpha is listed as the growth strain. This means you will receive a bacterial stab with the plasmid pre-transformed into DH5alpha bacteria.
