As a nonprofit plasmid repository, we distribute plasmids made by the scientific community, but we are not able to perform any custom cloning. However, there are many other companies that provide custom cloning services.
Alternatively, if you know of a publication that describes the construct you need, we can contact the lab or the corresponding author and request they deposit the plasmid with Addgene. Please use our Plasmid Referral Form or send an email to deposit@addgene.org with the plasmid name and citation.
Please note that scientists are under no obligation to deposit their plasmids with Addgene and, if they do, it may take some time for the plasmid to become available for distribution due to our quality control process. For that reason, you may also wish to contact the lab directly.
