All Addgene orders require the acceptance of terms of use for your requested items. The terms are listed in the Recipient Scientist Acknowledgement (RSA). After you have completed our online checkout process, we will send an email to the order contact and Recipient Scientist that includes a link to the RSA. You can also access the RSA by logging into your account and navigating to your Order Status page.
The Recipient Scientist will need to sign this form to acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms of use for the requested material. Some institutions require that the Principal Investigator sign the form. In this case, we ask that the Recipient Scientist or order contact forward the secure link to the form to the PI.
Most items in our repository require the approval of a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) in addition to the RSA. If your order contains items that are subject to an MTA, Addgene will generate the relevant agreements and send them to you or your MTA coordinator (if we have one on file) after the RSA has been submitted.
